To the masses, £25 a month is simply not affordable for broadband - compared to the £5/month I'm currently paying for Sky, that is extortionate. Also, the other issue is the state of the UK broadband - unless you're willing to pay a premium for something like Virgin Media, or Infinity (if it's available in your area, and it's not available all over the country), then you're left chugging along at fairly pedestrian speeds. Where I live, near London, we may get Infinity by the end of 2011 - but given the current climate, I can't justify spending £25.60 a month for unlimited BT Infinity usage, when my total bill for telephone, broadband and Sky is a little over that per month!

Then again, give it a few years, and ISPs will cry out about BT's "monopoly" of fibre optic internet (even though they opted out of it at the start and let BT go it alone, if you believe the rumours), and Ofcom will just force BT to make it open to all, like ADSL all those years ago!

I am surprised you think "Superfast" connections are "unaffordable" - BT Infinity 40meg FTTC service is costing me under £25 a month. Also, it is darn good for OnLive - as the last two "lost days" will testify!

As an iPhone user I'd already shot myself in the foot and said to the wife what a waste of time the iPad is, it's basically an iPhone with a bigger screen, can do all the things an iPhone can do (except make calls via mobile, suppose Skype counts).

However, wait a minute......having actually invested in one it makes so much more sense to go ahead regardless of the cost to invest in iPad! Yes, the increased screen size makes viewing live football on Sky Sports via Sky Go just that bit more enjoyable.

Travelling on train or plane is so much more enjoyable now, better than it would have been with my laptop or netbook, at least I can comfortably see the screen by lowering the table on the seat-back and perching the iPad on there. Portrait or landscape. Simples!

Watching movies is a breeze with the Videos app, surely the iPad will follow shortly with something similar, especially when Apple launch their iCloud later in the autumn.

Overall, I think it's a cracking bit of kit, integrates well in my home/work life whether at home, work or out and about. Though granted, still more improvements can be made until it's honestly worth 10/10.

"Enter Communication" may indicate an issue with the internal flash memory - your best bet would be to get in touch with Elonex!

my elonex etouch 1000et tablet doesn't work,

it doesn't want to turn on when i turn it on it tells me to "press enter/menu enter update mode" when i click it, it tells me to "enter communication"
in the past i would ignore it and turn it off or leave it and it would just turn on but this time it doesn't and keeps coming up with this. no matter how many times i switch it off and on again.

i've tried resetting it but no change.

what should i do???
what is the communication thing???

thanks

Every word of this could of been writen by me, even the leaving early bit to catch a train, this time last year i was a huge tna fan, loved their fresh approach and innovative ideas, but i only watch it now if I catch it on, or read about it online, the Matt Morgan Pope match seemed to have been thrown together, beer money was a good match but same again it didnt make sense to fight who they did, and the x division title was never going to change hands when the two opponents are involved in tag teams, the main event held no interest for me either, , and why cant they do an impact taping over here? they promise every year then dont deliver, i appreciate they had alot of injury problems to wrestlers who would have featured otherwise, but it was still unacceptable, ur right, it feels like wcw all over again at the moment

Does anyone know how to copy files from external HDD (connected by USD) to Popcorn Hour A-200's internal HDD?
This A-200 Popcorn Hour is a waste of time, I was much happier with my WD.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Best Regards,
SJohn
